as one of the divine herbs – Divya aushadhis – in Ayurveda and is revered for its spiritual properties as well as its many benefits to the physical health of the body.
Ashoka is an Ayurvedic medicine's foremost uterine tonic and has many traditional uses that help support a healthy female reproductive system. As an effective uterine tonic, Ashoka is hard to beat. The literal meaning of Ashoka is “no grief”, and it is the spiritual energy of this tree that is said to have the effect of removing grief from the heart.
